Director of Engineering

Overview

We are seeking a high-impact Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering

function. This role will own product design & development, engineering strategy, and

performance optimization, driving innovation while building a strong, results-focused team.

This is a leadership role with real authority to influence direction, improve operations, and

deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams

● Oversee product design and development from concept through production

● Drive engineering strategy and innovation aligned with company goals

● Optimize systems, processes, and team performance to improve efficiency and output

● Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to ensure execution

● Establish KPIs and track performance across engineering initiatives

● Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and processes

● Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines

● Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

● 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership

● Background in manufacturing, product development, or industrial engineering

● Proven track record of driving performance and leading teams

● Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus

● Strong business acumen and ability to align engineering with company goals

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
